昨夜マギーが亡くなったと聞いて悲しかった。
彼女は、私にとって、最初の蜘蛛の友達となり、玄関のわきに網をはり、蚊が入ってこないようにしてくれた。サイズは約３ｃｍで、見る人に恐怖をもたせる傾向の黄色と黒のしま模様いり。妻や子供達は案の定こわがった。
私は彼らに真実を教えた。私たちに悪さをするのは、蚊であって、蜘蛛はそういった害虫をつかまえて食べてくれる。蜘蛛は私たちが掴まない限り、襲ってくることはない。そして、マギーという名をつけ、彼らに、親密感をもってもらうようにした。
この種の蜘蛛は、近づくと、威嚇をしてくる。しかしマギーは一切しなかった。娘もマギーに対しては、大丈夫になっていった。
そして昨夜帰ると、玄関脇がきれいになっていた。妻に聞いてみると、他の同じ種の大きい蜘蛛に食べられてしまって、更に、ものすごい威嚇をしてきたので、傘で取り払ったみたい。傘の先でつかまえると、前足でつかみ、キバで何回も攻撃してきたみたい。
私は、実は、クリスチャンになる前、蜘蛛は大の苦手だった。数ｍｍの蜘蛛も触れなかった。
It was sad to hear that Maggy was deadyesterday.
She was my first friendly spider ever andprotected our house from mosquitos to stay just besides the front door. Hersize was around 3cm with yellow and black striped pattern which was enoughgiving scariness to my family.
But I suggested them to see the truth. Whois bad to us. MosquitoS!! Spiders are catching and eating them. They normallydo not attack us unless we do not catch them. And then, even put the name Maggyto feel close.
The kind of spider usually threaten you ifwe are too close but he never did it to us so even my daughter started to be okwith her every time she walked beside it.
When I went home yesterday and soon noticedthe door side was so clean and there was no Maggy.
My wife told me she was eaten by other samekind female and the one was so nasty to threaten to my wife and daughter whenthey got close. So she decided to take off the spider using umbrella. She wasattacking with her tusks rounding her legs onto the tip.
I was the one who hated spider until Ibecame Christian .
